Gentle, fun and safe group exercise designed and led by qualified physiotherapists – helping you stay active, improve confidence and enjoy moving again.
Fitmove is Home Links Physiotherapy’s group exercise programme, created to help older adults and people living with long-term conditions keep moving in a safe, supportive environment.
Classes are led by HCPC-registered Chartered Physiotherapists, so every session is built around mobility, balance, strength and confidence – not just fitness for fitness’ sake.
We deliver dance-based and functional exercise classes in community venues across London and Kent. These sessions are ideal if you’d like to:
Improve balance and reduce your risk of falls
Build strength and stamina in a safe way
New members are welcome, and we do our best to adapt exercises so people with different levels of mobility can take part.
We provide tailored group exercise classes for care homes, extra-care housing and supported living services across South East London and Kent.
Our classes can help:
Maintain mobility and independence
Improve balance and reduce falls
Increase participation in meaningful activity
Support residents living with memory problems and dementia
Support people with complex neurological or physical conditions
To discuss classes for your service, please contact our team and we’ll arrange a visit or a call to talk through what you need.
If a group class isn’t the right starting point, we can provide individual exercise sessions at home or in a residential setting. These are ideal for people who:
Are recovering from illness, surgery or a stay in hospital
Have more complex mobility or balance difficulties
Need a tailored programme before transitioning into a group class
One-to-one sessions can then lead into Fitmove groups once it’s clinically safe and appropriate.
